How To Build Your Audience On Youtube
Tip 1: Build YouTube Audience Loyalty - Create useful content
When you make a YouTube video, make sure it helps your audience to build real relationships.
You want them to believe that you bring good content and that you respect their time. Instead of blaming their ingenuity with clicks, strive to create strong, relevant pieces that your audience should watch and share.
Once you have verified the quality of your YouTube channel, people will be better able to come back and see what's new.
Finding the right video titles is key to creating useful content “Think about the problems your audience is having,” explains Nick Nimmins, YouTube's content creator/trainer, “and create content - which will be a door to attract those people and introduce them to your content. ”

• How to do/teach
• Product reviews
• Vlogs

Tip 2: Build your YouTube audience specifically for content
In addition to making great videos that distinguish you from other
YouTube channels, make sure your audience knows. Make sure they know how your
content is different, better, and maybe a little more special.
• Create a FOMO (fear of missing out) if they can't see. Brian
Fanzo, a video expert, and speaker of the day, explains that while 'telling'
people to watch a video doesn't usually work, leading with new content makes
people want to get involved. He explains: “There’s a little bit of that,‘ Well,
if I don’t participate in that, now I want to be a part of that. ’”
• Extract videos from selected group… initially. Release
'premature access' to videos from your website or news email, so subscribers
have the first dib. Video co-ordinator with YouTuber Owen Video suggests, “When
we publish a new video, it is not registered for one day. Which means the
public can't find it, but you can send a link to people. "After that, let
everyone use social media. Your Inner YouTube audience would love to be the
first to see your new content, and they will be rewarded for subscribing to
your newsletter.
Video creator Sean Cannell explains the benefits of holding back a few details. “If you want to get someone else's attention, you have to know how to tell someone completely. Put a little mystery in there so they can keep watching…. ”
Tip 3: Provide a context for each video
Clearly state what your video is about, in advance. Obviously,
it's better. Doing so respects the time of your viewers (and, building trust!)
And encourages them to click on more of your videos. Assign context to:
• Title (what is the main theme of your video, or what problem
solves it?)
Description (if this is a tutorial video, which version of the
software does this address, in particular?)
• Web page text (what else do audiences need to know before
deciding whether they want to click on this video?)
• Video thumbnail (What can you add to the thumbnail that will
determine what the video is about?)
• First ten seconds of video - If possible, let people know the
important points, so they are encouraged to keep watching the whole thing.
If your video has categories of different topics, you can share
this list as a context, so that viewers can jump to the topic they like.
Tip 4: Be consistent in building an audience on YouTube
While your content should be different, your publishing cadence
should be predictable. It's important as a YouTube creator to stick to a
consistent schedule of your video content. This lets your YouTube audience know
when to search for your content, and can look forward to the next one. Be
consistent about:
• When you publish - For example, release a new YouTube video every
Wednesday, and your audience will look forward to it.
• Type of content you publish - If you are a skateboarding expert,
do not suddenly share videos with trees.
• Where you publish - Promote your new videos in the same ways,
such as your email newsletter, website, social media, etc.
• Interaction with the audience - Responding to video ideas is a
great way to build engagement.

Tip 5: Check your content
Take the time to make sure your content works with your YouTube
audience. Is that really what they want? Does it help them? Is it interesting
and/or fun enough to keep them watching a lot?
Take a good look at what some successful video creators do in
terms of how they value their content. Also, update performance metrics from
your YouTube library. Compare the performance of your videos to see what gets
the best results.
• Topic - Do some topics work better than others?
• Thumbnail - Are there any obvious winners who include the
audience?
• Video Length - What is the audience's attention?
• Video context - What information do you need to include (and
what's more)?
• The first 15 seconds - Which method keeps viewers watching?
• Video type - Which method attracts the most involvement -
talking head, first person view, man on the street, etc.?
• Upload time and location - Are your audience watching 9-5 videos Monday through Friday, or a different time?

Tip 6: Get help and participate in building a YouTube audience
Even if you create content on your own, you do not need to promote videos alone.
• Use your current circles. Share your new video with your email list, spread the word with employees at your company, and ask your friends to check it out. You can also encourage sharing (just make sure you are aware of the explicit disclosure rules).
• Get help with tutorials or other YouTubers. There are people in your organization who have some experience in building a YouTube audience, who can help you get started. Or, try an online course. The free TechSmith Academy TechSmith is one way you can try.
• Collaborate with other creators. This applies even if they point to topics similar to yours. In addition to promoting each other's content, you can also appear in videos together, and in other forms of collaboration. You'll get access to people who may not have received it in any other way.
Tip 7: Make your videos visible in search results
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is important for building YouTube audience. Since YouTube is owned by Google - and these two platforms are great search engines - in particular is how people find your videos, and how you can increase your reach.
• Clear. "The more specific you are, the more you can search," explains YouTuber Andrew Kan. Skip broad search terms. Instead, choose specific topics in your niche and make sure your articles and descriptions reflect that.
• Lead with solutions. Instead of a glorified sales value, he resolutely answers questions from viewers. Give them more value than they expected, and they will be more inclined to ‘like’, subscribe, and share your content, making it more accessible.
• Give value to title, description, and thumbnail. Make sure your video title, description, and related content clearly show the viewer why he or she should click, watch, and return to find out more.
